The former Barcelona player spoke of the alienation that he felt at AS Roma, and is hoping that his time at the San Siro is a more pleasant experience than at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952.
Despite the fact that the player came to the Italian Serie A when Luis Enrique was the head coach of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bojan-Krkic-c7794 failed to make the appropriate impact he would have wanted at the club. There was consensus, that the move to Roma would be a stepping
stone for the youngster, as he sought to come out of the shadow of Iniesta, Xavi and Messi at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, and make a bigger name for himself.
The fact that Enrique was the Barcelona B team coach also suggested that the striker would be given more chances in the team to prove his worth. Even though Bojan started in the opening few matches of the Lega, Enrique opted to field http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163 in his
place in the Serie A. Slowly, Bojan turned into a fringe player and his time at the club started turning into a nightmare.
Becoming a fringe player for the team is one thing, but Bojan felt that he was never welcomed at the club since the start. He stated his relationship with the club as being “weird” and there was something inherently odd about his rapport with the team.
He went on to state his ecstasy at playing for Milan and felt humbled by the opportunity handed down to him, and remarked:
“My relationship with Roma was weird from the beginning. I didn't get to play much. I didn't reach an agreement with Roma, and then Milan offered me the opportunity to play. It's an honour for me to be here.”
The former Roma player also said that he was made to feel extremely welcome at the club by its players and staff, and remarked:
“It has been incredible for me since day one. The players here have really given me a great welcoming.”
Bojan has gone on to state his willingness at extending his loan deal into a permanent one when loan deal expires at the club.
