J Bossr was then joined by skipper M Steyn, as the two batsmen continued Border’s onslaught, aiming to put enough runs on the board to give their opponents a run for their money later in the day.
However, before the second-wicket partnership could sink its teeth in, it met its demise on the wicket of Steyn, who was run out for 17 runs to his name. By this time, the batting side had managed to post 67 runs on the board.
