Bolton Wanderers Defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zat-Knight-c37825 wants Manchester City’s Shaun Wright-Phillips at the Reebok Stadium
Bolton Wanderers defender,  Zat Knight has gone on to claim that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shaun-Wright-Phillips-c33277 is the ideal player for Bolton Wanderers to sign.
The defender has even gone as far, as to suggesting that Wright-Phillips is open to the move as well, despite the winger not having made any comments public regarding the situation.
The twenty nine year old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 came in to
manage the club. The fact that the winger managed to start a mere two league matches last season, goes to show just how unimportant City consider him to be.
Despite not having made any comments public, the winger has been linked with a number of moves out of the Manchester based club. As a result, it now seems like Bolton might just be the likeliest of destinations for the winger.
Knight, who is a close friend of Wright-Phillip’s and a Bolton regular, is quoted to have said: “I always talk to Shaun and he's a very good friend of mine. And speaking to him, he'd http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 to come to Bolton.

"He's at that age now where he needs to be playing first-team football week in, week out.

"I think he hasn't played regularly for the last two seasons. It's about playing football and then the rest will come."

The defender seems to be quite adamant on Phillips joining him at the Reebok and has even gone on to state that the winger is open to taking a pay cut, in order to make the move.
Knight then went on to add: "If he had to take a pay cut then I think he would do, because he could progress at Wanderers and then something else could happen.”
From the looks of things, this could prove to be the season that Wright-Phillips finally makes the move to a club, where he is more than likely to end his career. The forward is now twenty nine years old and considering he isn’t getting any younger any faster,
he needs to decide if he wants to play football for the rest of his days, or sit on the bench sulk and take home money for doing that.
According to most experts, Fulham, along with Bolton are also looking to land the attacker. As a result, it is now going to be a wait to see which one of the two teams actually decides to go ahead with a formal offer for the player.
