Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle admits interest for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 in the summer transfer window
Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle confirmed that there had been countless bids from many English Premier League sides for defender Gary Cahill during the summer transfer window but none of them had matched his valuation for the player which is why a deal
had not been agreed upon.

Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“Any interested clubs didn't come close to what it would take for Gary to leave. It didn't give you anything to think about.”
Coyle had previously claimed that he would consider selling Cahill in the transfer window if a club came up with the right offer, but the Bolton Wanderers boss did not receive any acceptable offers during the summer. He felt the clubs interested in the central
defender had not valued the player correctly.
Cahill made it clear to Coyle that he wished to play UEFA Champions League football with a top club, which is why the manager was considering offers from other clubs. However, he did not feel it would fair to the club or the player to sell him for less than
his worth.
While Coyle admitted Cahill was disappointed at not having completed a move to a top four Premier League side in the summer transfer window, he was certain the defender would put that behind him and focus on the current season with Bolton Wanderers.

win.
He said:
“When that didn't come to fruition it said a lot about him in terms of mentally preparing himself (for international duty) and besides the goal he put in a huge performance for England.”
Coyle felt that while Cahill had the quality to play for any top side, he would still learn and develop by remaining at the Reebok Stadium. with his performances for Bolton over the past seasons.
Coyle continued:
“To have a Bolton player score a goal for England for the first time since 1959 is a fantastic achievement and I'm delighted for Gary as well.
The reason he was in the squad was because of his performances for Bolton and that is what he has to continue to do to ensure he becomes an integral part of Fabio Capello's squad.”
