Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle revealed he believed Chris Eagles had improved drastically since his arrival from Premier League champions Manchester United. The 25-year-old English playmaker joined Burnley in the 2008-2009 season from Old Trafford while
Coyle was in charge of the side and went on to do brilliantly in his three seasons at the club.
When Eagles arrived at Burnley in 2008 the side was competing in the League One, he made an impressive 57 appearances in all competitions and scored 7 goals in his first season at the club. He helped the side earn a promotion to the Premier League, where
he made 38 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions.
The next season unfortunately Burnley were relegated, but Eagles remained with the side and went on to have his best season at the club. The playmaker c*m winger made 48 appearances and found the back of the net 15 times, his career best so far. His consistently
improving form earned him interest from former boss Coyle, who signed Eagles along with Tyrone Mears for a joint fee of £3 million.
Coyle insisted Eagles was now a better player as compared to three years ago, while he was still at Old Trafford. The Bolton boss was confident regular first team football at the Reebok Stadium would further help the player improve. Admitted Eagles still
needed development and experience in the top flight, Coyle was confident the English attacking midfielder would do well against Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 in their opening fixture of the Premier League.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“He is a better player now.
That was three years ago and he has picked up a lot along the way.
There is no doubt he has got better year on year. He is desperate to do well and he will get the opportunity to play here.”
Coyle revealed it wasn’t easy to cement a place in the starting XI at Manchester United under manager Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, but applauded Eagles for getting as far as he had. The young Eagles begun his senior career with the Red Devils in 2003 and despite being
loaned out to various sides was able to make six appearances for Manchester United and score one goal.
The Bolton boss revealed:

Coyle said he believed Eagles had shown quality in both the Championship and the Premier League, which is why he had decided to sign the player in the summer transfer window. He said he was especially impressed with his 15 goals for Burnley last season and
expected the same from him this season for Bolton.
Coyle continued:
“I know the quality he has. He wants to entertain, play the right way and be exciting. I believe he will be.”
