Coyle revealed the player had shown improvement since joining the club and predicted he would continue to do so in the future. The Scottish manager was certain the young Arsenal player would go on to be a top player in the English Premier League.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“He is a young player that continues to get better and we are trying to bring him on in the right way.
We are giving him the platform for him to realise how far he wants to go in the game.
We have seen it before - http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Sturridge - we gave them the opportunities.”
Like previous players before him, Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Miyaichi has shown the ability to develop into one of the best young players in the English Premier League. Wilshere, who is currently out injured, went on to secure
first team football at Arsenal after a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.
Same was with Daniel Sturridge, who spent the latter half of last season on loan with Bolton Wanderers. The Blues striker was given an amazing opportunity at the Reebok Stadium to prove himself and scored 8 goals in 12 appearances in the Premier League.
Coyle was certain Miyaichi had what it took to develop into a successful player, already possessing the pace and the work rate. According to the Bolton Wanderers manager, it was Miyaichi’s performance for the Trotter’s that had earned him a spot in the Japan
national team.
He continued:
“He comes on with freshness, enthusiasm, pace, quality. He has a real desire to push himself on and I love working with that type of young player.
Because of how well Ryo has played for us, he has emerged to be in the national squad.”
