Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle predicts Arsenal to bounce back
Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle revealed he was certain Arsenal would recover from their poor start to the English Premier League season and finish in the top four once again. From their opening fixtures, Arsenal have managed to secure just four points
and are currently close to falling in the relegation zone.
Bolton Wanderers travel to Emirates Stadium today to take on the Gunners and Coyle revealed that he would not be taking the London sides lightly. The Bolton Wanderers boss said he still considered Arsenal a threat, even after their 8-2 loss to Manchester
United a few weeks ago.
Even though the London club have problems this season, which include injury problems in their squad and certain players leaving in the summer transfer window, Coyle felt these were short term. He was certain the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would ensure
the side recovered from the early season slump.
Coyle said in an interview:
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are an elite club. They are still going to figure in the top four.
If anything, they will be much more dangerous because they are looking to get up and running.”
In fact, the Trotters manager believed Arsenal were now a more dangerous side since they were determined to return to winning ways. With the Gunners playing at home, Coyle felt they were at an advantage which is why his side had to do their best.
Coyle continued:
“They want to get back to the levels they know they are capable of. They are at home. It will be a packed ground. That tells you it will be difficult.
But we want to delay them getting up and running for another week. To do that, we need everyone at the top of our game.”
Like Arsene Wenger, Coyle has suffered criticism for his side’s poor start as well and understood the pressure the Arsenal manager was going through. He dismissed last season and claimed his side would do better in the current one, as long as they remained
consistent.
He said:
“Last season is finished with. The only thing I am concerned with is this one.”
