Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle promises to bring in a striker

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle revealed he was confident he would be able to bring in strikers during the summer transfer window to ensure his side were able to compete with the top English Premier League sides in the upcoming season.

Despite having failed to find any suitable forwards so far, Coyle was not ready to accept defeat in his search for the perfect striker. The Bolton boss remained confident that he would be able to sign a striker before the transfer window closed.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“I am always confident. I will do my utmost to furnish the club with those signings that will help the team.
It is always more difficult if you don't have the finance.

Coyle insisted he was not focusing on the other clubs and their spending in the transfer window. He revealed he was given a budget for the transfer window and had to make the necessary signings according to it.
Coyle said:
“Football has got more difficult. Gone are the days when everyone had the same amount of money and it was a level playing field.
But you can still have success in cup competitions and improve your league position. That is what you have to do.”
