Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has revealed he is still optimistic regarding his side’s chances of avoiding relegation at the end of the season.
After a highly disappointing start to the English Premier League, Bolton Wanderers have returned to winning ways and are now a point away from the drop zone. In their last eight games in all competitions the Trotters have lost just once, registering a win

Their good form has not continued since they ended up losing 2-0 to Norwich City and 2-1 to Wigan Athletic over the weekend. While the team is confident of making it through relegation at the end of the season, some of the supporters are not and Coyle is
eager to calm their nerves.
Bolton Wanderers will now take on Millwall in the fifth round of FA Cup on Saturday and will be looking to secure a win and make it through to the next round. While their main aim is surviving another season in the Premier League, an FA Cup win would be
the icing on the cake if they manage to avoid the drop zone at the end of the term.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“You will have people who want to be pessimistic, but so be it - that is how a lot of people are.
Of course, it is disappointing and hurtful when you lose games or when you don't perform to the level you are capable of, but the bottom line is it happens, you can't affect it and it is behind us.
We are a point from safety in the league, we are in the last 16 in the cup and now, we will look to go and win this cup tie to give us the momentum to move forward.”
The manager urged the players to be positive about the upcoming matches and focus on winning their next fixtures, which would ensure some consistency in their form. Coyle was certain his side could enjoy some sense of safety since they had already managed
to climb above the relegation zone on the Premier League table.
