been broken earlier.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“Tyrone Mears has had a setback in his recovery from his fractured leg. He has had to have a s***w replaced and he will be out for a number of weeks on the back of that.
He came back and played at Norwich and, within playing, there was discomfort.”
The Scottish manager revealed the player had suffered a setback in the recovery of his broken leg and had to have to existing s***w replaced with another one. According to Coyle, Mears will now be out for another couple of weeks which could mean the defender
will make his return sometime in March.
He revealed:
“Each day Tyrone trained after that, he was getting pain which was bearable to a point, but if a player goes out to play and they know there is something at the back of their mind, then it is difficult for them to make sure they are focused.”
Coyle hailed Mears for training everyday despite having unbearable pain in his leg. He felt it was best for the defender to take some much needed time off and ensure his injury had completely settled before he made a return to football once again.
