Similarly, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 striker Daniel Sturridge spent the latter half of last season with Bolton Wanderers. The 21-year-old English forward made 12 appearances in the Premier League and found the back of the net eight times.
Coyle once again tried to retain the services of the Blues striker, but failed once again since the youngster was keen to return to Stamford Bridge. The Bolton manager revealed how he had been told his side would not be successful with the young talent having
left the club.
However, he has proven his critics wrong as Bolton Wanderers got off to a flying start on the opening day of the new season against the newly promoted Championship side. Coyle was confident his side would do even better with a few additions.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“People lined up to tell us there was no http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Elmander-c18782.
We have to make sure we evolve, and if that means we have to change a few things, then that's what we'll do.”
Coyle was confident the team would improve once the injured players had returned, in addition to the arrival of new signings. He said he was focused on making sure there was depth in the squad to ensure they could last the entire season.
The manager reportedly has some targets identified and is currently working on negotiating a reasonable price for the players. Coyle said he was looking to bring in an additional striker and possibly a winger.
He continued:
“You've seen a great performance from a group of players we've still got to add a couple of names to, and a couple of injuries to come back in.
We need strength in depth. I'd like to add another striker and a winger. You probably know who they are but finances will play a part in all that.”
