Bolton Wanderers interested in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tuncay-Sanli-c35618 – Bundesliga news
Rumours in England are rife that the VfL Wolfsburg winger, Tuncay Sanli, is on his way to Bolton Wanderers. Some e-mails from the fans and reports suggested that the player has been seen at the club’s training ground and the Trotters could soon strike a
bid for the Turkey international.
If the reports are to be believed then Sanli could be the last player to go out of the German club this summer, as the transfer window closes in three weeks time. Wolfsburg are also trying to bring in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462 striker, Papiss Demba Cisse, prior to their
game against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
For his part, the Turk has denied any such development and assured the fans of his stay in Germany at least for the 2011/12 campaign. He mentioned that Bolton are interested in luring him to the Reebok Stadium but he never went there or trained with them.
Tuncay told that people spread such rumours for the sake of publicity and enjoyment and there is no truth in this news.
The former Middlesbrough man was a part of the English Premier League side Stoke City last season before making his way to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 in 2011. He only has four league appearances for the club so far and is yet to open his account for Die Wolfe. The 29-year-old
admitted about his frustration on not getting enough games under his belt but denied having trials in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. He further added that Wolfsburg manager, Felix Magath, still considers him an important player for his side and never gave any indication of parting
ways with him.
Magath has also disagreed with the reports of Tuncay’s possible transfer. He clearly stated that the Turkey international is certainly a part of his plans for this season and the club aren’t in any mood to sell the experienced winger.
Tuncay made 14 premier league appearances for Stoke last season, netting a solitary goal in return. He made his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 debut in 2002 and has 80 international caps to his name to go along with his 22 goals.
