Bolton midfielder Mark Davies signs new deal
Bolton midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-Davies-c24112 has signed a new deal for the club that will keep him with the Trotters until 2015.
Manager Owen Coyle highly rates the youngster and was delighted to secure the services of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 Under-21 international.
“Mark was already under contract but what this shows is that we are trying to build a football club for years to come,” Owen Coyle said in an interview to the club’s official website.
Coyle said that Bolton’s future plans include young talent and Mark Davies certainly belongs to the rank. He said that Davies is supremely talented and exciting to watch. The Bolton manager added that the youngster has the ability that can take him far.
The manager is clearly impressed by the performances of the midfielder in the on-going 2010-11 season and has consistently picked him in the starting line-up.
“He is enjoying an extended run in the team at the moment and he is showing his qualities. To have a player of his ilk commit his long-term future to the football club is a tremendous boost,” Coyle said.
Mark Davies was delighted to commit his long-term future to the club and said that he is enjoying playing under the ex-Burnley manager. He said that he feels extremely honoured to be part of the manager’s plans. Davies hopes to continue his good performances
and wishes that the club can secure a place for Europe in the season.
Bolton had signed the midfielder from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2009. He made his first start for the side against Tottenham Hotspur in the same month and led them to victory at Reebok Stadium. The midfielder has started 8 matches in the season
for Bolton and has been one of the stand-out performers in Owen Coyle’s side.
The midfielder has linked quite well with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Elmander-c18782 which has led to Bolton’s excellent run in the season. They now sit in 8th place with 36 points and are strong contenders for a place in the UEFA Europa League next season.
