Bon Voyage Hockey Section?

Question

I'd just like to say that I will not be on for the next 10 days (I'll give you guys some peace and quiet) as I go on my Summer vacation, a cruise in fact. It's a shame I will miss all the major signings so I'll have to wait a week longer than most of you, which sucks.

So what's the best vacation you have ever been on and are you planning on going on one this summer?

I guess I'll make this some what related to hockey and ask whats the best non-professional hockey fight you have ever seen.

i have been on many vacations but the best one that comes to mind was a cruise that i went on with my family. we had the top two rooms on the ship, it was pretty nice.

im going to florida this summer, boring but ill make it fun

We had tons of fights growing up threw the leagues I was in. We had one That started on the ice. As A goalie I squared of at center ice with the other teams keeper. After the benches cleared and the game was stopped it erupted into the walkway between the locker rooms and even ALOT of the parents got involved.

My best vacation was backpacking through europe if that counts... including studying abroad, i was there for 4-5 months, and went to:  Berlin, Munich, Prague, Krakow, Belgrade, Nis (Serbia), Skopje (Macedonia), Pristina (Kosovo), Mitrovica (Kosovo), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Klagenfurt (Austria), Vienna (Austria), Zurich/Geneva (switzerland), Paris, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and some assorted small towns around some of those cities.

SO AWESOME.  I miss traveling so much.  Going camping in a few weeks, and moving to DC in august, but I don't have the money to travel more than that this summer. :(

Do minor league hockey fights count?  I've seen some nice Amerks fights, and Wolf Pack fights...

I have no plans this summer, but the best vacation I ever had was in Cancun, Mexico. Good times, good times.

Loved that Pittsburgh Tournament fight, we Cleveland badasses got into all sorts of fights in Pittsburgh when I played Hockey lol.

The best vacation I have ever went on would have to be when I went to Dubai two years ago. It was a great experience and I visited the only 7- star Hotel in the world.  I even stayed in a 5- star hotel. It was a blast.

At the end of July I'm going down to Cooperstown for the baseball HOF inductions.

It's awesome. Main Street is lined w/Hall of Famers. Bill Lee, Graig Nettles, Goose Goosage, Whitey Ford, Denny McLain ect.

I think this past Feb. when me and my dad went to Toronto. We saw a hockey game and went to the HHOF. It was great.

I have seen some awesome CHL fights but am not sure if they are on youtube.

PS the first one to guess what language Hyvaa Matkaa is in is GUARANTEED best answer next time I ask a question.

PS 2 = I cannot say much about my favourite vacation as it would give too much of a hint as far as where I travelled that summer.

Green Lantern got the correct linguistic answer too, and don't worry I know to put the accents on the two A's in hyvaa (joo mina puhu suomea) but on my laptop I can't write the accents in french, spanish, finnish or czech while on a website, only if in MS-word. Very frustrating. :(

I met my one of favorite soccer player,

it was an amazing experience.

This year I might go to Hawaii with my friends and to Pittsburgh.

I'm going backpacking again in August in Yosemite. But I am mainly looking forward to my favorite trip which is Arizona!!! That's sometime next year that I will know when the NHL schedule comes out.

It's not TOO bad that you are gonig to miss all the free agent signings. I missed it last year because I planned a trip to Hawaii before and after Canada Day...how stupid of me. Just get a laptop and check in every 10 minutes that I did. My wife took my two kids to the beach that day and I stayed indoors  and watched ESPN and NHL.com to see any signings. Bring a laptop along on your cruise or use one of the cruises computers (If they have one).

Must be one of those supply and demand things. I know it is demanded I supply my talents ALL SUMMER LONG.

Don't know if I have a favorite non-NHL fight, but seen some good ones. Probably some of Ryan VandenBusshe's would rank at the top of the list.
