Bonamassa Buddy likely to prevail in Romforddogs.com Maidens
Bonamassa Buddy is likely to win the Romforddogs.com Maidens at Romford in England on Friday, March 9, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded with cash prize of £150.
The 400 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 19:46 GMT and the six runners confirmed for it are: Bonamassa Buddy, Yahoo Killian, Little Reminder, Movealong Dash, Murlens Murcia and Blonde Bronson.
The favourite hound is in very good shape at the moment and the bookmakers have full faith in his abilities. That is why they have awarded him with the highest odds of winning today’s event.
D. Mullins’ trainee is not managed to win recently, despite being able to produce consistent results over the past few races. This might discourage the punters from placing bets over his victory today.
In his last appearance at Romford, Bonamassa Buddy was the favourite to win, but only managed a third place. He did show some speed at the start of the event, but was unable to carry on with the momentum. His trainer will be expecting an improved performance
from him today.
The brindle dog is the son of Killahan Phanter out of Sanu We Kee and was born in February 2010.
On the other hand, Yahoo Killian has a very good chance of winning the race and the bettors will be well aware of it. He has earned a couple of victories in his previous five appearances and his most recent race also proved to be quite a good one.
S. Cahill’s trainee might find things a touch difficult in this class, but a little bit of luck will see him finish on top of the table. The black dog is the son of Duke Special out of Best Fast Lady and was born in August 2009.
Little Reminder, trained by P. Rosney, is another greyhound with decent odds. He finished runner up in his last race at Nottingham and has the ability to shine at Romford as well. However, he will have to be his absolute best in order to challenge the top
two favourites.
Movealong Dash, Murlens Murcia and Blonde Bronson do not seem to have any chances of victory today, as they are not in good form at the moment.
