Bone-In Chicken Breast -Suggestions?

Great deal on the chicken today at the supermarket, but I really need a good recipe. Does anyone have a great and flavorful recipe for bone-in chicken breast that isn't a soup. Maybe something with a yummy sauce but no onions or much garlic (picky eaters). Thanks,

  1. This is my favorite chicken breast recipe

    CHICKEN BREAST MARSALA

    INGREDIENTS...........

    8 skinless chicken breast

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    1 tablespoon butter

    1/4 cup Marsala wine

    1 cup chopped portobello mushrooms

    1 cup chopped onion

    1 teaspoon dried rosemary

    4 slices mozzarella cheese

    DIRECTIONS

Season flour with poultry seasoning. Dredge the chicken b*****s in the seasoned flour. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, fry the chicken in the oil for about 5 minutes each side, depending on the thickness. Remove the chicken and set aside (keep warm.)

Deglaze pan with Marsala wine (deglazing is swirling or stirring a liquid in a pan to dissolve cooked food particles remaining on the bottom). Add the chopped mushrooms, chopped onions and rosemary. Saute for 5 minutes over high heat.

Return the chicken b*****s to the skillet, baste with drippings, put cheese on the b*****s and cook for another 2 1/2 minutes with the lid on tightly. Don't touch the lid! Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes, until the b*****s cook through. Check the seasoning and adjust. You will have the plumpest, juiciest chicken b*****s you can imagine!

    Good Eating.................    :)

  2. 1 cup olive oil, Rosemary, Thyme, Garlic, Salt/Pepper marinate for at least 1 hour then bake or grill.

Marinate in Balsimic Vinegar, olive oil, diced raw galic, salt pepper brown sugar.

    Grill

  3. salt and pepper the chicken and put it skin side down in a hot pan with a little oil, cook til golden brown then flip (you are just seering, not cooking all the way through).  Take chicken out of pan and put in a bakin dish, cover in apricot preserves (you could use plum or peach as well) you could add some chopped garlic over it too or chopped onions to make it more savory but if you don't like that, don't add it.  Cook in a 350 oven for about 20-30 mins.
