Bonnie Brae tipped to win Wright Joinery Company Stakes (Handicap)
Bonnie Brae is tipped to win the Wright Joinery Company Stakes (Handicap) at Goodwood in England on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The winner of the class-2 race will walk away with a cash prize of £12,938.
The going will be good to firm in the 7 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 15:10 GMT. Following are the runners, who will be seen in action at Goodwood: Primaeval, Yair Hill, Bonnie Brae, Global City, Axiom, Bronze Prince, Thunderball, Citrus
Star, Noble Citizen, Kakatosi, Rulesn´regulations and Mr David.
It will not be easy to predict the winner, as quite a few participants are in a decent touch at the moment. However, Bonnie Brae has got very good speed, which will help her perform well in today’s short distance race.
The five-year-old mare has participated in 17 races until now, winning four of them and finishing runner up on the same number of times. Her recent performances have been decent, which will help her attract a lot of bets from the punters.
In her most recent outing, the David Elsworth’s trainee fought extremely hard, but had to settle for the second position in the end. She was not the favourite to win, but gave a tough time to her opponents and came close to victory in the end.
If Bonnie Brae gets a clear run in the race today, she will definitely be fighting at the front. She will be partnered by veteran jockey, Ryan Moore, who has won quite a few races at this level. His strike rate is also impressive, which will help him attract
a lot of bets.
Another runner, who seems to be in very good form right now, is Primaeval. He has been delivering some consistent results over the past few months, which shows that he is carrying a terrific momentum.
The six-year-old gelding has participated in 20 events until now, winning six of them and finishing runner up on five times. Moreover, he has also secured the third spot on a couple of occasions.
In his most recent run, the James Fanshawe’s trainee performed well, as he finished on top of the table. He will be partnered Hayley Turner in the race today.
