Bonsai tree?

we were given a bonsai tree which we are keeping in our office. it can get quite warm in here as there are about 8 pc's and four printers on the go at all times.

any tips on keeping it healthy pls as already it is going wilty and brown help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. The heat shouldn't be a problem - except that it can cause draught, so keep watering it . If you are serious you may want to repot it, trim the roots, and give it some fresh compost.


  2. keep it out of the direct sun and mist spray every 2 days, soak it in a pot of water for half an  hour once a week and make sre you trim it now and then for new growth, sounds like its in need of a water and some shade

  3. Make sure it is an indoor variety.  Use special bonsai compost as ordinary soil is not suitable. A spell outdoors in summer is generally beneficial. Mist leaves occasionally.  Do not allow compost to dry out.

  4. There are both indoor and outdoor plants. Compare yours to ones on this site to determine the ideal habitat for it. There are instruction on the site too.

  5. Meg has it right, in addition buy some feed for it during summer. In winter you will have to cut back roots to stop it getting pot bound
