Boogie On Conor confident to win Kent Derby Trial Stakes – Div 2
Following his two tremendous triumphs of this month, the E. Crow trained black dog, Boogie On Conor, is quite confident to complete his hat-trick by winning Kent Derby Trial Stakes – Div 2 here at Sittingbourne racecourse on Sunday night, July 22.
The Open Race over 480 meters will commence at 19:52 (GMT). The two-year-old veteran hound will break from the orange box to pursue the prize cheque worth £200.
The dashing dog gained a lot of winning impetus by finishing first in each of his last two starts. First, he won the A4 415m Flat by the huge margin of 9 ½ lengths at Harlow on July 14, and then stunned the sport fans with a 15 1/4–length clean victory at
Sittingbourne.
These two consecutive conquests have boosted up the experienced hound’s morale to a great extent along with making him the hot favourite candidate for tonight’s marathon.
Prior to this, the talented son of Just The Best out of Shes Some Woman won three big races in a row during May-June----one success came with the incredible margin of 18 ¾ lengths.
The best thing about the dog is that he has proved his class equally well in different formats and over different distances. This shows that he will be able to make a big impact tonight. He has more than 95 percent chances to thrive as none of his rivals
can meet his calibre.
However, Broadway Magic can show a little resistance against him. The G. Andreas trained black dog has been winning with regular intervals since the dawn of the calendar year.
He ran remarkably well in each of his last three starts at the same venue where he is supposed to sizzle tonight. Two were A1 and one was an OR race. He won the OR one by the margin of 3 ¼ lengths.
Overall, the son of College Causeway out of Droopys Snowdrop has many glorious feats to his name.
Thus, it is anticipated that there will be observed a fierce battle between these two hounds, but Boogie On Conor is destined to win convincingly.
