in the book lina and doon stop being friends because she makes fun of himm but then they makee up. what do they do to become friends again?? dont have the book and really need to knoww. pleasee helpp?? thankss.

When they get their jobs assigned to them, they switch, because Lena gets the job of working underground, and Doon gets messenger. Then (I forget exactly how it happens...) they end up finding out that the mayor is corrupted, and that there is a mystery about Ember, and they work together to figure it out.
