Book a Flight from Detroit to California.?

Heey I really want to go to California during my summer vacation for about one month (4 weeks or even 3 weeks). I have from July 25th to about August 28th.

I want to find a very cheap ticket from Detroit Metro Airport to LAX airport in Los Angeles or any airport that is very close to California (not more than 15 minutes away) such as Ontario airport. If anyone can help me find a ticket that is $150 or under please tell me the site or details thanks.

it may be cheaper to fly out of flint.

have you tried orbitz.com, priceline.com, expedia.com,  etc?
