  1. sparknotes.com ?

  2. You will find notes on the book *Tuesdays with Morrie* by Mitch Albom at

    http://thebestnotes.com/booknotes/Tuesda...

There is information about the Greek Mythology book here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Evs...

...but not much information online about that one.  Perhaps you could pick it up in Orlando and read it during your free time while you are there.

  3. HAHA. thats funny. Nice cover story.

    sparknotes.com (by far the best)

    litsum.com (has nearly everything)

    pinkmonkey.com

BE WARNED! This is not a good habbit to develop. Believe me ive been there. I used these site all through out middle school and high school until junior year. Then life caught up with me, "o **** i have no clue how to answer these analytical questions or write any of these in-class essays". I had to play catch up for the rest of high school, which was tremendously difficult and frustrating, because i was way behind. But being an immature freshmen that you are about to become you probably wont listen to anything ive said. So best of luck. =]

  4. Sure,

    Go to www.Imaspoiledpeabrainedwuss.com

They'll fix you right up. Make sure to have Daddy's credit card info....

  5. you can try:

    http://sparknotes.com/

    http://www.bookrags.com/

just look up the books and you might find them.

    Good Luck!

  6. I'm confused...How did it come about that your teachers did not tell you those books had to be read before you went to Europe? Since when do teachers assign homework during the summer holidays? Is this something new? Unfortunately going to Europe or Orlando is not a valid excuse to not read-you can do that anywhere any time. Books are portable! If you get organize and read x number of chapters a day you can get them read. Get up early if you have to. Reading while waiting in line is useful. Read at the beach. It's best you learn to reap the rewards of self-discipline early. You will only cheat yourself in the long run if you go the Notes route. Good Luck-and just do it!

  7. I can't believe I'm answering this way since I'm an advocate of doing your homework but "Tuesdays with Morrie" was made into a movie.  You can probably get Clif notes (or whatever the kids are using these days) for "God's and Monsters".

Or at least just get the books and read as much as you can.  Any amount would be useful.  You'll have many hours on the airplane and if you read at least 1-hour a night you would have more than enough time to finish these books.  I know that "Tuesdays..." was a very short book.

  8. Even if it's not right away, read Tuesdays with Morrie. Mitch Albom is an amazing writer! And I personally never pass up Greek mythology, but I understand if it's not your thing.

You can look up Cliff Notes or Spark Notes, but some teachers understand that students may use these and purposefully make it so that only students who have read the books can take the quizzes, so be careful.

And don't stress too much. These tests at the beginning of the year usually don't count for much. But don't slack either!

  9. You still have time to speed-read the books.  I suggest going to Pinkmonkey.com or Sparknotes.com to get a chapter by chapter summary.  After you do that, try to thumb through the books and focus on certain parts so that you have some sense of the writer's style.  You'll also get a good feel for the story.  Those two sites do a really good job of summarizing the book.

  10. Try to find the summaries for the books..
