Book list for my holiday?

I will be going on a two week holiday in the sun, and have planned a booklist compiled of some books that I need to read for A2 English Literature, and others I wanted to read. However, I don't think I will be able to read all of them, here it is so far:

Lady Windermere's Fan by Oscar Wilde

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

Enduring Love by Ian McEwan

Lady Chaterley's Lover by D.H Lawrence

Madame Bovaryby Gustave Flaubert

The Pictures of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

Cheri by Collette

Obviously, I cannot read all of them in 2 weeks, but will definately bring 'Lady Winderemere's Fan. What books should I bring from the above list. PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER BOOKS WHICH ARE NOT ON THE LIST AS I AM SET ON MY LIST AND DO NOT HAVE TIME TO GO OUT AND BUY THEM!

Thanks.

  1. the lovely bones is the only one i have read its an excellent book but i dont think i would take it on holiday as parts of it are heartbreaking so its not really what you would need on a holiday

  2. the lovely bones is an amazing book but i would recommend the picture of dorian gray, its very dark but with humour and is a very clever book for the year it was written.lady Chatterley lover is also good but not as provoking now as it was then

  3. The Lovely Bones and Lady Chatterley's Lover are just out of this world! Whatever you decide have a great holiday!
