So..totally dumb question but wow has it been forever since I have been in school. My son is in the 4th grade and has to do a bunch of book reports and I can not remember the proper way to do one for his grade. I know it involves the characters, the setting and the plot but I can't remember what the proper set up is. If anyone can give me an idea that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a bunch ♥

  1. Most teachers hand out a paper or whatever telling the format..

First page center title and author of the book.. Childs name..

Then go to the next page and start with a short intro telling what the book is about bringing in the main characters in the book.. Next a summary of the book.. You need to tell the main event/events.. A conclusion about the main thing that happened/ending.. If you like the book.. Why or why not.. Would you reccomend it to a friend..

  2. 4th grade... hmm, i was helping out my neice a lil while back, she's in 5th and hers went:

    -title and author

      - group book is focused for ( eg. ppl who like horses, ppl who own a cat...etc)

      -main characters

      - story outline, and the main "problem" in the book and how it's resolved
