Book series name? barbie? my scene? HELP? easy 10 points (maybe :] )?

does anybody know the name of that series that was around like... three of four years ago?

it was about the five (or six?!?) girls living in NYC.

i remember one of them lived in harlem, one of them lived in spanish harlem, and one of them was british.

there was a girl named barbie and i think one named chelsea. there was a book in the series where they were on a ski trip. thats pretty much all i remember.

my cousin was IN LOVE with this series (i liked it ok too ;] ), and her birthdays REALLY SOON and this is what i want to get her.
