Booked a Carnival Cruise in September - when do I get my tickets for shore excursions?

I printed out my travel documents online. Do I get my shore excursion ticket on the ship? Is it mailed? All I have is a printed out paper that says I'm signed up. Is that enough?

  1. Southern Apostolic is right, the E-documents are great and you can always print more if you need them, the E-documents are 10 pages long.  we don't book excursions through the ship but you get them when you get on the ship.

Sept is the best time to cruise we are looking forward to the Glory leaving on the 8th, enjoy your cruise too, there is nothing like it!!!!

  2. If you have already registered for a shore excursion online, it will come under your door the night before the excursion.

You can sign up for it either online or once you get on board the ship.  But if you booked one for the last day, they won't deliver your tickets until the day before during the "nightly entertainment" (sometimes during first dinner so if you have 2nd dinner, when you come in to get ready for dinner your tickets will already be there)

  3. You will receive the tickets on the ship.  When you print your e-docs, that is you boarding pass and information you need to board the ship, and your luggage tags.  Once you get on the ship, the rest of it will be taken care of.

We are sailing on the Carnival Glory in Sept.  This is the first time we have been able to use electronic documents, and I love it.  Our first cruise, they sent our boarding pass to the wrong address, and we did not receive it until a few days before we left.

  4. You should get them in the mail a couple weeks or so before your cruise. Otherwise if you havent got them by the time you leave for the ship, once you get onboard talk to the shore excursion people and see what they recommend. You should get them mailed, have fun.

  5. You will get the tickets delivered to you on the ship.  Usually, the cabin steward will leave the envelope with the tickets in your cabin the day or night before the excursion.
