Question:

Booked holiday with thomson..?

Me and 2 friends booked a holiday with thomson travel (UK) to go to Malia during july 2009. I agreed to be lead passenger.

One of my friends has now lost her job and being kicked out of her apartment so theres no way shes going to be able to afford such luxarys as Malia.

The rest of the deposite needs to be paid off by october, we have only paid the £50 as of yet.

Can I change her name over to someone elses without her permission? Shes dodging me because she knows I'm going to ask about the holiday money. This is all in my name and its scary as I cannot afford to pay it. I've found someone else to come its just I doubt she'll give her concent........do I need this?

Considering my friend paid her £50 deposite in the first place so she hasn't paid anything towards it?

If so how?

Please help!!

  1. I think you can change the name over to somebody else if it is was you who booked it but I think they charge you for this privilidge.

She can hardly be mad for you doing it if she hasnt paid any money towards it.

I would do it the sooner the better if I were you, or it will just get more complicated

  2. Hi, don't worry we had exactly the same problem last year, with myself being lead passenger. I contacted the booking office and told them one passenger needed to be changed it was done there and then. As your lead passenger everything can be altered by you.

Good luck and the sooner the better xx
