  1. In general, when you arrive at the airport, have the credit card you used to pay for the ticket or the confirmation number.  Using the kiosk is easy.  You can either swipe the credit card or punch in the confirmation number and everything should pop up. I would have printouts from Expedia, just to be on the safe side (I have never used them before).  For car rentals, it is basically the same process-most have kiosks.  Unless you want to change or upgrade, you probably won't need to speak to a clerk.  When you get to the hotel, they will ask for a credit card-they can pull up your info by your name when you first check in.

  2. For the airport, you simply need your confirmation number or your flight number (the airline can find your reservation with either), and your picture ID. Some people will tell you that you need the credit card that you used to buy the ticket, but that is untrue. If you use a kiosk to check in, you may have the option of using a credit card to to verify your identity but you can use any credit card that is in your name. You can also check in without using a credit card at all. I've flown hundreds of times and no one has ever required me to show the credit card that was used to buy the ticket.

For the car rental, just have your confirmation number, drivers license, and credit card.  For the hotel, you need your confirmation number and a credit card.

A credit card is required for the car rental and the hotel even if you have prepaid through Expedia. It does not have to be the same card that you used to prepay. This is in case you keep the car longer, damage it, or rack up restaurant and bar bills at the hotel. Debit cards are not always an acceptable substitute. If you don't have a credit card, check in advance to be sure that the car rental company will rent to you. Most accept debit cards for payment of rental charges, but some won't  accept them as a guarantee when you pick up the car. If they will accept a debit card, be sure to have extra money in the account that you don't plan to spend. The car rental company and hotel will likely place a hold on some of your funds until you have returned the car and checked out of the hotel. This is to ensure that there is money available in your account if you do run up extra charges. If you don't plan for this, you may try to pay for something with your card and find that you don't have enough available funds.

  3. Thats what I do.  Make sure you have all the necessary confirmation information with you.
