i wanted to travel from Chicago to India (kerala) ...well, i wanted to stop by dubai first for 2 - 3 days and then leave to kerala. I was wondering if you knew of any good airlines and / or sites where i can compare prices to book this flight. i'm trying to find a good economy class flight that's relatively cheap, but on a good airline. thanks for your input! :)

if you had any suggestions on what airlines to avoid as well, that'd be great. thanks :)

  1. mail at sumit_nanda@hotmail.com for special fares.

  2. Ask for thai airways. I think it is cheap and flies to dubai.

    Also singapore airlines.

  3. Please check the following websites:

    http://us.makemytrip.com/

    www.kayak.com

  4. i will give you two best options from chicago. try these two airlines: Emirates or Gulf Air. The emirates is the carrier of Dubai, they provide visa too to dubai and emirates operates to kerala too. And the same with gulf air too.Avoid indian carriers.

www.emairates.com and www.gulfair.com. Both these carrier are from the united arab emirates. Or else try http://www.qatarairways.com. You can find many more flights based in middle east which operated between usa- dubai - kerala. but i prefer the 3 which i mentioned.

  5. Try the www.kayak.com - if you do ORD to TRV and back, you will get fares of $ 1600 (with stop overs in Bahrain/Amman) or Ethihad and Gulf Air.

If you try aa.com you can get your exact Dubai stopover at a fare of about $ 1900

the other alternative is just do a Chicago/Dubai return flight and another one (preferably through a freind in Dubai) for Dubai - Trivandrum return; you can get a return fare of $ 1400 for the former and about 500+ for the latter.

Happy holidays and have a safe trip
