Booking a train?

Question

I have no idea how to figure out how to book a train that will take me from Savannah GA to Miami FL and if it will can i order the ticket 3 days in advance or would i have to order it sooner? can someone please help me.

Indeed, just go to Amtrak's website and they have all of their stations listed conveniently directly from the main page so you can figure out exactly how you want to go.  I believe the Silver Meteor and Silver Star are Amtrak's trains which operate between Savannah and Miami.

Amtrak's Silver Service travels from New York to Miami and stops in Savannah, GA. So you can book a train right on amtrak.com. However, I would book more than three days in advance, more like a week or two in advance.
