Booking a trip to mexico?

We are planning on going to puerto vallarta for a week in august. What online sites offer the best deals/rates? Or would we be better off booking with a travel agency?

Yeah, "Ashleyy" has a good point, travel agencies will give you great deals, but sometimes ONLY if you know about them in advance! At Easter we went to an agency (in the D.F.) to book 5 days in Acapulco, they quoted us one price. When I mentioned an Internet deal that was 35% lower, THEN they actually went looking and found me a deal 40% lower!

(And NEVER buy into the lie that "we can't get you that price because its only on the Internet" that's a BAD, STUPID, LAZY or DISHONEST agency. Try another one!)

The trick is to thoroughly search the net for the best deal then simply show your agency and tell them that you want the same deal, then you have the best of both worlds.............

I use this one there's alot of info on the site and if you book hotel and air together its cheaper.  They are an online travel agency that you can e-mail call or book everything online.

Hi! I booked Puerto Vallarta in December (most expensive month to travel) for my one year wedding anniversary for my Husband and I.

I was really skeptical about going to a travel agency because I thought I could find the best deal on my own online. I was so wrong! I got an amazing deal! It's unreal...

You don't pay for their services, the hotels that they book through pay them. Travel agency's are awesome!!

You can check funjet or apple and many of the travel sites like travelloni will offer a rebate if you book with them I also have used bookit.com they were great I never use an angency any longer because I like getting the rebate.
