Question:

Books about Homeschoolers??

I just started reading a novel by Spider Robinson called Callahan's Con (figured I'd get through the Callahan books before moving on to other genras). This book was reccomended to me because apparently my boyfriend thought I'd get a kick out of the super-genius "homeschooled" character, Erin. Sure enough, I did, but now I'd like to know if there are any other fiction novels about homeschoolers, be they supernatural like in this sci-fi classic, or more realistic. I've done some searches myself, but can anyone suggest a good title?

  1. This page lists books in which the children are clearly not attending school, although HS may not be specifically mentioned.

  2. Surviving the Applewhites  is one.

  3. I haven't personally read any of these, but here's a list I found on amazon:

If you go to www.google.com and type "fiction about homeschoolers" in the search, quite a few results come up, so you might try that too.
