Books by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters? question inside.?

I'd like to know what age group the majority of books by the Brontes and Jane Austen are geared towards? I suppose they're alright for any age, but I was wondering if there was a specific age group.

They're written for adults, but there's no objectionable content and they're easily accessible to teenagers who are good readers. I started reading Austen when I was 13 years old and didn't have any problems at all. If you've read some of the older children's classics, like Little Women, Treasure Island, or Anne of Green Gables, you'll be fine.
