So I'm a 15 year old boy, and honestly I don't really read much, but I do want to start. So really enjoy the Cirque Du Freak and Artemis Fowl series, but I'm also open to new things. What books would you recommend?

Note- I also really enjoy the books i read in my Lit class such as Samurais Garden and To Kill a Mocking bird.

  2. my twins are turning 14 next month and they both loved the Artimus (spelling?) Fowl books as well. They also loved another series by James Paterson called Maximum Ride. There are 4 books. Plus there is a movie coming out soon as well so it would be cool to read the books then see the movie.

The first book is called Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment and it's about these kids and teens who were bred in a lab and they are half human half bird. They each have different powers and I think one of them is blind. They all escape from the lab and these demon creatures who were also bred in the lab are after them. My kids could not put these books down. The second one is called Maximum Ride, Schools out forever. The third is Maximum Ride, Saving the world and other extreme sports. The 4th and last so far is called Maximum Ride, The final Warning.

I highly recommend these books. They are meant for teenagers. James paterson usually writes really good adult novels but this was his first series geared to toward teens and I really think you would like it. With 4 good size books in the series it should keep you busy for awhile.
