Books like the Twilight series, or The Host by S. Meyer?

I love Stephenie Meyer. I really liked the Host, almost more than the Twilight books(but i love the continual story of bella and the cullens)

But now that the Twilight series is done(tear), I dont have anything to read that i like nearly as much.

I tried the anne rice vampire books but didn't feel as connected to them.

suggestions dont have to be only vampire based.

I loved the Uglies Trilogy! (uglies/pretties/specials/extras.)

I think its like the Host, though i've never read that..

But i LOVED Twilight (:

I really really really liked the warrior heir by Cinda Williams Chima. I thought it was better than Twilight, i know *gasps* but that's my opinion.

The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray are great books.

1st book- A Great and Terrible Beauty

2nd book- Rebel Angels

3rd book- The Sweet Far Thing

These books have a variety of different themes intertwined-fantasy,romance, and action.
