  1. ohmygosh. im 14 too.

and i read this amazing series. its like suspenseful.

& i think ud like them because my friend read them with me.

and she recently ead twilight and said there kind of similar but not really.

the first one is called Blue is For Nightmares.

its basically about a girl who has dreams about bad things happening. and they come true. but she has to rely on them so shell know how to prevent it.

i strongllllyyyy recommend the series =]

  2. get a little insight of the 19th and 20th century by reading some Leo Tolstoy and some Charles DIckens.

  3. dolly cleo cosmo

  4. a stitch in time.

    little women

    The catcher in the rye

  5. Being Bindy...

    Cloudstreet...

    By Tim Winton.

    The diary of Anne Frank..

Looking for JJ- An AMAZING book a must read.!!!

  6. Little Women

Girl Interrupted- Great book && Movie

Riding in Cars With Boys- Great book && Movie

    Love Lessons

    Kiss

  7. The Redwall series by Brian Jacques...

The Hobbit (I love The Lord of the Rings trilogy, but if you don't have the patience for that, this is a much easier read) by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett-- one of my favorite books EVER! Even if this does not match your taste exactly, you should read this once in your life. It is a wonderful read!

There isn't that much great fantasy out there-- most are copycats of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.  I have yet to read Artemis Fowl, but I've heard that it's good.

The Raising Dragons series by Bryan Davis-- this is classified as Christian fiction, and it has spiritual references, but if that doesn't offend you, try it. A boy finds out that he has a dragon heritage (nothing like that weird cartoon on Disney, trust me). These books are original and entertaining- the first one in the series is the best, so make sure to start off with that one.

The Squire's Tales series by Gerald Morris-- youth fiction, but still very well written books. There are only a few books in the series, which are basically retellings of the King Arthur legends.

That's all I can remember for now.

  8. The Darren Shan Saga by Darren Shan.

It's the grislier and more realistic version of the Twilight series.

    I enjoyed the volumes.

  9. I have read all artemis fowl, very good books, go with them.

  10. When I was 14 I read the series of:

    -Blue is for Nightmares

    -White is for Magic

    -Silver is for Secrets

    -Red is for Remembrance

    All by Laurie Faria Stolarz

and my second favorite book [next to the Twilight series] is:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chosky

It's seriously an incredible book full of life lessons and teen dramas.
