Boolean serch?

Question

how do i go about doing a boolean search on yahoo. i have a known that brings up too many links and a range of limiting factors that would cull out much of the unwanted material.

I can't speak to how the main Yahoo Search works, but on YA they are using a third rate search engine and it has not worked properly for about a year.  You pretty much have to limit yourself to single word searches and to sort them by date you have to export them (in advanced search) to a RSS feed.
