A couple of hundred years. Same with coal. I prefer nuke plants myself because if they are well handled and disposed of they are very green.

If you listen....  Pickens is pushing Natural Gas as a INTERMEDIATE measure to provide energy while we research and develop a VIABLE means of alternate energy.

I'm not saying he is right or wrong..... but the way you are framing his intentions is not accurate and fair.
