  1. No, I heard 8yr or 80 lb and your over 80 lbs.

My daughter is also small for her age. She likes to use a booster seat on long rode trips because of the cup holder and she is higher to look out at the scenery. She is 12 now. and I would never make her sit in a booster seat because it is not age appropriate.

  2. My eight year old  weighs 80 lbs.   He complained last week that none of his friends had to ride in boosters.  So I said okay, you don't have to anymore.  Well that lasted a week, he asked for it back because he liked his cup holder.  So I said okay and it is his choice to be in it.

  3. well, after a certain age it stops going by weight abd goes by age. you are too old for a booster seat, but the least you could do is sit in the back seat

  4. I understand your moms concern, but I also understand how that must make you feel.  Let her know that you're willing to compromise.  They have booster seats that look similar to a booster seat in a restaurant.  You can sit in the back seat and no one will ever see it.  They are very inexpensive as well... around $20.

    Good luck!!

  5. your big enough to sit in a regular seat

  6. no way

  7. I've always wondered this too.  I have a few really short friends in their 20's.  Technically, they should still be in boosters.  lol

My advice is to call your local police/fire department and tell them your situation.  Let them know that you and your mom are a bit conflicted.  She wants to obey the law, but you want to be a normal teen.  Because of your age, I think you are exempt.  Getting the facts directly from a law enforcement officer should convince your mom to give you a break.

The website below shows the booster seat requirements for each state.  Hope it helps your "argument".

  8. embarrassing! what do you do when chicks drive by?

  9. wear boots with heels that will add an inch or 2.

  10. just ride in a booster seat i mean whos going to see you?

  11. Omg you should'nt your 13

  12. u were in a booster seat at 12? wow well i dont think i ever had a booster seat lol but thats cause mexicans dont care no jk lol but ummm tell ur mom thats shes crazy lol

  13. maybe you can persuade her to get the kind you can't see from the window.  It is really just the bottom part of the seat.  I can see that your embarrassed, but your mom really is just thinking about your safety.  I bought my daughter a little device that slides over top of the seatbelt.  It helps adjust it to fit her correctly, even though she's only 4'6".

  14. You're 13 and weigh 80 pounds?

I was out of the booster seat by 5.  Just stay in the back seat till you're 5 feet.

  15. im 13 too and i would say h**l no! my mom would never do that anyway but if she did thats what i would say and i would tell her it would be too embarassing for me as a teenager ya know?  hope everything goes well for you
