Hi,

I have a CISCO 1720 router, when I bootup the router my HyperTerminal Session runs through the system bootstrap and then goes to a rommon command line.

Here's a copy of the session output:

System Bootstrap Version 12.0(3)T, Release Software (fc1)
Copyright (c) 1999 by cisco Systems, Inc
C1700 platform with 32768 Kbytes of main memory

rommon 1 >

Has something happened to the memory on this thing? Maybe a power surge has knocked it out?

Can anyone shed any light on this or provide me with a solution?
All this on the very day that I am to have static IP's installed in my new house and utilise my CISCO Router...

Thanks!
