I am buying a campervan in germany next week and will travel back to Ireland through France,has anyone any experience in the booze cruise?

  3. Also--there are restrictions on how much you can bring between countries. Check these out because you could risk losing all that you have bought.

  4. Alcohol limit in France is very low at 05g/l which for a man is two glasses of alcohol (wine or beer) during a meal  one hour ago, for a woman one glass. And that is French wine glass measure, not full to the rim but slightly over half full.

    Buy a test kit and use it every time you take the wheel. During summertime the cops are everywhere and quite nasty (they don't like to deal with corpses in shattered cars).

    That said, you can find information on the net about local wine makers. If you go through Paris area you will be driving through three wine areas, Alsace, top of Bourgogne and the Loire. Unless you take a more northern road in which case you will go through Alsace and Champagne. Have a look at that map...
