Boozed Effect expected to be effective at Nottingham
Since the dawn of September, Boozed Effect has achieved two classic triumphs that have filled him with confidence and fighting spirit. Moreover, the M. Roberts trained white and black dog has a decent record in A1 format of the game. These factors converge
to make him the hot favourite candidate for tonight’s A1 500m Flat that will go down at Nottingham racecourse.
After breaking from the blue box, the two-year-old young and talented hound will audaciously take on five mighty competitors with his eyes on the cash prize worth £134.
Both the distance and venue are ideal for the dashing dog to unleash his utmost racing stamina, thus, we must expect a thumping performance from him.
Since July, the son of Micks Savings out of Boozed Lorraine has been doing well in A1 race. He marvellously won a race by the big margin of 3 lengths on July 28.
The maverick sprinter moved ahead to finish first in another race of the same category on August 27----he fought hard and beat the combined favourite rival, Droopys Clive, by a head’s margin.
The momentous runner outplayed Fabulous Adele to win another big race on September 1. Being the joint favourite candidate with Cullens Crash, he again narrowly finished first in his last start on September 17.
These triumphs are a clear evidence of Boozed Effect’s capabilities. He is supposed to repeat the same class in tonight’s race as well. All eyes are hinged on him. He will not disappoint the trainer and his fans who want to see him winning.
Despite all these factors, Boozed Effect will have to face some arduous challenges from Highclere Chief who has recently won two big races with mammoth margins.
On August 21, the E. Saville trained black dog nicely beat Fabulous Alibi by seven lengths’ margin in an A2 contest. That was followed by his 8½-length clean victory in an A1 event of September 8.
Thus, the son of Head Bound out of Three Star Gem will compete neck-to-neck with Boozed Effect, but he cannot outstrip him.
Let us enjoy the fierce spar. Good luck to both the mighty greyhounds.
