Boozed Star dominant in the Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough
The Grade A1 420 metres flat race will be staged at Peterborough on Wednesday, 19th September. The two-year-old, Boozed Star, is one of the brightest prospects for bagging the £98 prize money. The black hound started racing just this season and has build up his profile through racing consistently at Peterborough, winning occasionally.
Micks Savings’ son did not even deviate from the standard distance of 420 metres throughout the career races. His career debut and the race on 4th August were over different distances.
Boozed Star posted the first success of the career on 19th April, 2012 at Peterborough over 420 metres. Racing wide after bursting out of the sixth trap, and then racing on for the lead got him crowned in 26.92 seconds. Finishing the race right behind the winner was, Jingle Pine.
The phase that took on proved unlucky for the connections as it was not before 20th June, 2012 that the dark hound posted the next victory.
The fifth trap won the Grade A3 420 metres flat on 20th June, 2012 at Peterborough. The key to his success was the early established lead that he did not compromise on throughout the track distance. The resolve had him making the transit after racing for 25.95 seconds.
Settling right behind the winner was, Gateway Callum.
14th July, 2012 had the S. Saberton trained winning the Grade A3 420 metres flat race on at Peterborough. Following his signature pattern of stamping his greatness in the field, the two-year-old favourite entry concluded the race in 25.83 seconds.
Taking up the second slot after missing the race by 3 ¼ lengths was, Caz Hitch.
From 18th August to 14th September, 2012 the black dog won twice out of the five races that he became a part of.
He landed the Grade A2 Young Dons Football Club Charity Stakes on 18th August at Peterborough over 420 metres.
He was through the wire in 25.51 seconds and settling right behind was, Ballymac Doreen.
The last that he was seen dominating a race was on 29th August, 2012 in a Grade A1 420 metres flat race.
The 11 to 4 entry will race out of his lucky trap once more tonight.
