Bordeaux Country Stay?

Hi

Two interrailers (a couple) who have 3 nights to spare between Biarritz and flight home from La Rochelle. Would love to stay in a country house/farm/winery at budget accommodation prices i.e. 90 euro per room per night maximum! Must be near train or bus and preferably near a town or village to go out in at night. Not much info on the web - anyone familiar with the area?

Not too familar but it's the best of the wine regions. Sure would love to know more afterwards,......thanks for sharing and have a great time, byw the local table wine is superb!!

As for train or bus can't help you there. Why don't you rent a car for those three days?
