I'm going on vacation to Europe and I have a 10 hour flight. Regarding Canada's new copyright law, can I take my ipod on the flight without being convicted of copyright infringement?

  1. the new and improved copyright law hasn't even had first reading in parliament and I really don't expect it to be passed because Harper is going to call an election or Dion will finally get some cajonies and bring down the government.  don't sweat it bro

  2. I would think so. How are they going to know whether or not you bought the songs legitimately or you illegally downloaded them?

  3. um, yeah... what poster # 1 said... millions of people travel with their iPods; it can't be determined where the music came from just by looking at your iPod.... the trail of "free" music is on your computer hard drive.

  4. I live in Canada and my son just spent 3 months in Switzerland and had his ipod with him. You'll be just fine.
