  1. Well this is what i do get and mp3 ipod whatever put in your pocket place one of the headphones inside your sweater pull the bit you put in your ear through your wrist lean your ear near your hand so it only looks like your leaning on your arm and then listen to the music.

  2. Both of the previous answerers are correct.....You should pay attention in general but if you are terebly bored use the ipod trick if that satisfies you......

  3. I think the ipod is a bad idea.   You won't be able to listen and might have it taken away.     If too bored , you can think about things you like, or draw or write in your notebook, assuming you have one.   Take a few notes for the class, also, while you are at it.

  4. Sitting in a boring class is no fun at all, and depending on the class, you might get in trouble for listening to an ipod.

It's not as fun as a game or texting, but you could try looking up interesting aspects of the class subject. For instance, if it's math, you might go to mathworld.wolfram.com and look up "recreatonal mathematics", which has subjects like fractals, number puzzles, and even origami... if it's chemistry, you could read a paper like "How radioactive is your banana?" (from the Journal of Chem. Education, i have to check the volume number). Teachers usually understand if their students are bored, and like to encourage independent learning, so they'll probably be happy to let you explore the subject in class time.

If your teachers aren't as laid back, learn how to take very detailed notes and ask lots of questions. It helps you to focus on the lecture and also makes the material sink in, plus they're both useful skills if/when you go to college.

  5. Pay attention to the class.  Or quit the class if that is an option.

Learn to spell "per se", and do your homework.
