Bored/ guns?

I get extremely bored at my house and i went to my friends house and we shot birds and I missed all the time and he hit it every time. It inspired me. I want to practice shooting but my grandpa wont let me use his gun. does any one know where I can get e very cheap .22 long rifle???

Take a look at the Savage model 64 or the Savage Mark II. Both are inexpensive, but good quality .22 LR firearms.

All three of them should be available new for under $160. If you check the used gun rack, you can probably find a better deal on a used bolt action or semi-automatic rifle.

I bought a Stevens Model 954 semi auto, and a Marlin Model 80 both for under $100 at the local pawn shop. Just look around, a cheap 22 shouldn't be hard to find.

I bought a Savage .22 bolt action rifle at a bass pro shop try there. I am going to reccmoned a bolt action for your first gun becasue it will give you more time to aim, don't just plug away with a semi-auto, rounds get expensive after a while

What kind of birds were you shooting? Realize that shooting game or migratory birds out of season is illegal and shooting song birds is illegal anytime anywhere.

Shooting a .22 in the air should only be done with extreme caution (ex: shooting squirrels). A .22 can travel up to a mile.
