Bored when school ends!?

What do you do when school ends...Please give me suggestions on what i can do AT HOME!

After school I used to make hemp jewelry with beads as a hobby. Or various crafts, including sewing or drawing. Pillows were great cheap gifts for family members/friends and pillows are an easy way to get started. Crocheting is a good one too, although I never really got the hang of it. (Couldn't even make it through a scarf) Teaching yourself something new and interesting is always good too. You can try to teach yourself html or a language on the computer. Reading can soak up alot of time especially if it is interesting.

Doesn't anyone have hobbies anymore!?  How about scrapbooking, Lego, Knex, Magnetix, painting, crafts, keeping a journal . . . or outside hiking, riding bikes, swimming, playing sports, gardening, camping.  Check out your local YMCA for programs.  As I tell my kids, it doesn't need to include a glowing screen to be entertainment.
