Boring and blah photos?

Question

my friend doenst believe me when i tell her that her pictures are too boring and plain. she needs a better camera as well.

what do you think?

Her pictures are good, but i think she needs to be more focused on one thing, not many things at one time.  Usually the simpler the better.  The picture with the foliage in the foreground and the small building in the back is too busy.  The one with the people walking around is too vague, i'm not really drawn to any one element.  Good luck to her!

1.i like the contrast between the leaves in the foreground and the background giving the pix a HD look.

4.i like the foliage and the peeking tower makes me wonder were it may be.

5.i love the branch at the top, then the colour border on the bottom encases the picture making me feel like I'm viewing the picture through a portal.-blurey

yep, definitely boring. They are too broad. The camera isn't focused on any one subject.
