Liverpool’s newly signed striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163 cited the presence of Brendan Rodgers at Anfield as the prime reason behind him opting to join the Merseyside club.
The Italian International’s transfer to Liverpool was completed on the 13th of July, with the Reds reportedly having spent close to 11 million pounds on acquiring his services.

He told the reporters in an interview, “It [the deal] was done very quickly because I knew the coach and I knew I had his respect.”

Nevertheless, Borini rubbished the talks that his indifferences with his former team-mates led to his departure from Rome, claiming that he had always treated his colleagues with utmost respect and enjoyed a good relationship with them all.
“My relationship with the dressing room? In my opinion, it was good. I've always been honest with everyone. Like when I said I wanted to stay at Roma, I really wanted to.”
He further added that despite being marred by some injuries, he put up some of his best performances for the Italian giants and expressed his satisfaction over his last year’s achievements.
“[Roma was] definitely a positive experience for me, because I think I did well this year, even though I had some injuries.”
